Hello,

Another Mechanicus army appeared in our studio! This time it’s not the classical, red one, but the white-robed tech-adepts from the barren Forge World Metalika. This army will be fairly large, and the models we’re sharing with you today are the first batch of the mechanical cohorts that will soon follow. Take a look at Kastellan and Kataphron first:

How do you like our approach to the infamouw Kastellan head module (anf the rest of them as well as Kataphron)?

I really prefer the white color to the red!

A little update of Metalika Mechanicus – this time Sicarian squads. They are very poseable and insectoid-like bodies make them look very fragile, yet aggressive.
Take a look at the models at our gallery as well! Ruststalkers and Infiltrators alike.

Very cool!

I like the cool white with the red, it makes for a very striking combination.

Next units for Metalika project – Electropriests!

As always, you may see them (both Corpuscarii and Fulgurite ones) in our gallery.

Is their blueish skin tone fitting for those Mechanicum freaks?

Very cool!

Fitting enough for me, what with all that electricity running through them!

The Kastellans came out the nicest. The airbrushing really adds a nice tone to their armour plates.

I think most of the other miniatures looked rushed. Especially the bases where sand is overflowing down the rim. It doesn't take much effort to keep the edges of a base neat and tidy.

I also think lots of the infantry could benefit from more highlights, like the flat reds on the rust stalkers and electro priests.

The red glowing swords on the sicarians look great!

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

The models look very good indeed. Nice to be able to see them without your usual OSL covering up details.

The Kastellan look good, prefer the blue helmet glow as it has more depth and greater contrast to it than the red.

Bases do look a bit dull and unfinished in comparison to the miniatures

I like pretty much all of them, Metallica is a great color scheme. But on the Infiltrators/Ruststalkers I am questioning the use of OSL, you switch between two colors for the weapons and it looks a bit odd as a result. Also some have both taser/sword melee weapons?

As for the Electro-priests, nothing can save those models the sculpts themselves I don't like.

Indeed, the bases will look nicer with the edges tidied up. It was picked up already and we'll be more cautious with that. Thank you!

On the photo members of two separate squads got mixed up, hence the different sword colouring.

And now...

Another update Today Metalika tech-priests unleashed some big guns. It’s time for the enemies of Omnissiah to feel his wrath unleashed upon them by the mightiest of His children!

I'm sorry but not even these lovely paint jobs can stop the Kastellan from looking goofy.

Otherwise, these look great. Not often I see an AdMech army in these colors.

We're able to do an army with and without OSL when commissioned Soon you'll see a Cadian army we're doing without OSL as well.
