Subject: Could (some) Necrons count as Dark Eldar?

As in the title.
We have a Necron battalion knocking around alongside a box of wraiths, a shard and a command barge.
Now, is it just me (regarding the fluff/lore I know Eldar - Necrons are ancient enemies, and as DE moved into the webway before the fall retained(?) a lot of their technology) but would some of the Necron models - like the Wraiths be pretty nifty count as models ?
Paint them up in your DE scheme, throw some decals / DE stuff on (spikes/heads/chains idk) and maybe they could count as X.
What got me thinking was, I really like the DE models but not the grotesques/haem./wracks(meh they're 'okay' I guess)... I don't like Necron models, but I like the Wraiths... count the Wraiths as Grotesque's ?
Scythe would look nifty in a DE army too imo.
Any issues with this good/bad idea? Would anyone possibly not like this?
What other things would you suggest, purely for fun!

Most of the player base uses other models to count as grotesques due to the price and limited availability of the model. It's fluffy for dark eldar to capture other species and fleshcraft them into grotesques.
Wraiths may be hard to pull off, but I don't think people will complain.

If you're skilled enough, you could sculpt on patches of flesh. That would be quite nifty.

Scarabs and wraiths could probably get away with it. Scarabs seem like a reasonable stand-in for razorwing flocks. Wraiths would be a bit more odd, but it's ultimately the game of your opponent and yourself.
For the record, my grotesques are all bug bears, trolls, fish people, etc. that cost about $2 a guy from Reaper minis. My Cronos and Talos are usually proxied "mind controlled" carnifexes and these nifty "Nanovore" toys I picked up forever ago.

ATTENTION. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

I already use scarabs as razorwings. I could see wraiths or spyders being converted to grotesques or pain engines.

Embarassingly took me a few seconds to realise Razorwing Flocks and not Razorwing Jetfighters
Triarch Stalkers could be used for mechanical Talos, much like the OOP potentially.

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like it lol. Would I play against it? Sure, but from an aesthetic perspective I don't see it jiving too well honestly. If you do post up some pics please.

Aren't the Triarch Stalkers significantly larger (huge) compared to Taloi, or am I thinking of something else?
Also, flayed ones would make great looking wracks.
