Recently I had bought the brush on testors dullcote lacquer, I did not know you needed to thin it out before you put it on the model. Well today I was stopping by a new hobby store to pic up some supplies for my armies on parade board when I noticed that they had a testors section. So I picked up some of their lacquer thinner. Upon getting home I noticed that the dullcote bottle called for the thinner with the SKU # of 1159, and the one I picked up was #2018. My question is can I use the thinner I picked up today or will it not work as well? Obviously I could go to a hardware store and get some mineral spirits, but I thought I'd give the testors stuff a whirl and see if it was any better.
