One of the employees at my local GW shop is writing a 40K campaign for those who want to participate. This guy is very creative, and he has some great ideas. So, I'm looking forward to it. One of the main factors in the game is going to be leadership checks. If a leadership check is failed, bad things will happen. Seeing that any model can choose to take Azrael's Leadership number as long as they are friendly and DA, would it be a smart idea to run him as my Lord of War even though he is on the expensive side points-wise? Seems like a good idea to me, but some of you may see problems running him where I don't (other than the fact that he's a metal figure).

Thanks

I would say yes, army-wide leadership 10 would be good. Azrael really shines when he can confer the 4++ to the most amount of models....consider taking astra militarum and having a huge blob of conscripts as allies to put him in.

It's also worth mentioning that Interromancy screws enemy Leadership HARD so you might want to look into a Dangles Librarian for this campaign.

Don't believe me? It's all in the numbers.
Number 1: That's terror.
Number 2: That's terror.
