Really not the world's best painter but, following the instructions on Warhammer TV, I don't think it turned out too badly;

Don't beat yourself up mate, that's a fantastic job you've done there!

I will admit though, there's a lot of detail on the new Bloodthirster, so I'm sure that was a little daunting! My brother hasn't really done much with his except prime it and base coat at the moment.

How to take decent photos of your models
There's a beast in every man, and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand
Most importantly, Win or Lose, always try to have fun.

You know... it really wasn't that bad - and it has changed the way I look at some models, such as the Glottkin which is currently sitting in a box on my shelf.

Models like this look as though they have a lot of detail, but when much of it is brought out by washes and drybrushing, there is an element of 'cheating' involved, and it does not take anywhere as long as you think it might.

With the Glottkin, I am looking at this big model, but now thinking 'well, the entire body of the beast is more or less the same (same base, shade and layers, with the odd pustule thrown in), the guys on top have very similar colours - a few details on top of all that and it will be done.'

So, that model is getting bumped up the schedule to be done after my Pestilens
