You know... it really wasn't that bad - and it has changed the way I look at some models, such as the Glottkin which is currently sitting in a box on my shelf.
Models like this look as though they have a lot of detail, but when much of it is brought out by washes and drybrushing, there is an element of 'cheating' involved, and it does not take anywhere as long as you think it might.
With the Glottkin, I am looking at this big model, but now thinking 'well, the entire body of the beast is more or less the same (same base, shade and layers, with the odd pustule thrown in), the guys on top have very similar colours - a few details on top of all that and it will be done.'
So, that model is getting bumped up the schedule to be done after my Pestilens
