Hey folks!

Can someone tell me what Tyranid Hive Fleet the purple / blue color scheme is from? Thanks!

That way,then left

I think it's a reference to the old Genestealer cults minis.
I don't think they were cited as being of a specific hive fleet

They could be a splinter or just a variation of Leviathan (they're the cream ones with the purple carapace right?)

I think BOB Marley is right (weird to write this like that but still) ; the first iterations of genestealers in Space Hulk were purple and blue so, it's kind of a tribute I suppose.

Once upon a time, Genestealers were blue and purple and Tyranid Warriors were various shades of red depending on their age (with the really old ones being white).

Then came ... I think it was 4th edition which gave each hive fleet its own colours.

Anyway, presumably now you can say that "infiltrating" Genestealers are blue and purple while "assault" Genestealers are the colour of their hive fleet. If I'd had a Tyranid army, that's how I would have distinguished Ygmarl Genestealers from ordinary ones.

It's not a Hive Fleet, Genestealers had a different colour scheme to tyranids.

They're technically Space Hulk Genestealers but you're free to name them whatever Hive Fleet you want to call yours.
