So, I got the Soviet Winter Infantry box ( http://us-store.warlordgames.com/collections/soviet-get-started/products/soviet-winter-infantry-plastic-box-set ) as part of that rulebook deal awhile back and was hoping to get some advice about what to do with it. What options should I build these guys with? Any recommendations for vehicles to add to them?

Well you need 12 guys with rifles to start of as the soviets get a 12 man squad to start off

2 Men as a Lt. and his healers

12 rifleman squad as your free infantry squad

2x 10 man infantry squads to fill your ranks out.

That leaves you 6 bodies. You could make 2 AT rifle teams and a medic/Foward observer.

A good starting core for your soviet army. I would recommend avoiding the T35/85 and instead going with lighter tanks. Buy a truck to put some vets in to give yourself some mobility. AT dogs are also a good purchase for Soviet union.
