I've looked through the forums and searched google but i haven't been able to find anything really definitive. Can I get by on just paint scheme alone? Or is there some way to make my models look more like they have been marked by Slaanesh. I know Nurgle just add some disgusting stuff to it. But other than the screaming face shoulder pads I'm not really sure what I could add to these guys to show their devotion to the God of Excess. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Big speakers, big tongues, lots of flayed skins, whips, spikes, drug injectors, bright colours, big engines and fast looking vehicles, lots of slaves.

If running Cultists, can I recommend Dark Eldar Wych melee weapons as they are delightfully excessive.

Pick something they would obsess over.

There looks. there win streak, there martial prowess, noise pleasure, physical pleasure, loot, varous shades of greed, and so on

Pick a theme and focus on that.

Like say pretty marines would probably have gilded armor no helmets and robes (use tons of BA heads) and paint them warp pale

you can do TONS of trophy for the martial type.

noise marines would be..noise marine ee
pyshical you can take your pick.

Loot and greed you can make em look like a motley group of pirates.

and so on.

another one could be speed deamons. they get a stiffy from going fast

Flayed skins stretched over shoulder pads.

Drug injectors (frenzon dispensors), vials of drugs/perfume.

Big jewellery and chains.

Extra lavish trim, studded with gems.

I find the Berserker kit is good for many of these things, though a lot of it can be free handed on. Obviously you need to file down the Khorne marks, but this is easy to do

For mutation ideas I suggest looking at the slaanesh daemon models; crab claws, long tongues, etc. The spawn kit provides some options here.

If you want the 'noise' feel, the raptors provide armour covered in daemonic vox casters.

Wow these are some great ideas! I currently have mostly dark vengeance stuff. I might chop off all the cultist autoguns and put those wych weapons on them. I have some old 3rd edition dark eldar warriors (from the starter kit) and there are some good spikes and blades on those sprues. I will be at my FLGS later and see if anybody has some extra bits. If you have the other half of DV you can convert the DA into Emp children with some cleaver bits and robes. the raven wing bikes make great emp children bikes.

Could blinging out the bases to make them very ornate work?
