Just bouncing some ideas off the wall here.

My local store had a WELL stocked bits box the other day and I took full advantage. Among the items I scavenged was a Chimera hull, a Sentinel cab, and some autocannons from the hydra kit. How would it look if I built a turret using the Sentinel cab, with the cab sitting slightly left of center, and a cluster of auto cannon barrels hanging to the right?

There's some real world examples here (I think) of what you're suggesting:

Physics fans will moan about an off-centre cluster of auto cannons - the recoil would quickly knock the turret off balance. A design with two cannon on each side would make more sense.

There are plenty of real-world tank chassis with anti-aircraft turrets to give you inspiration. The biggest problem you'll face is that GW auto cannons are wildly over-scale compared to real-world equivalents, so you're going to be stuck with a bulky turret. (But that's true of the official Hydra model too...)

I would say take the pieces and temporarily put the components in place with sticky tack or what not and play with placement till you find one that looks good.

Off-center turrets are only an issue if you drastically under-engineered the turret mounts or have really big recoils involved, and even then it's a relative matter. If it was a matter of VITAL importance, turrets would always be dead-center front to back as well.

For light autocannon, it's a non-issue. The M2 .50 cal cupola is WAY off-center on the turret of an M-1... but it does not generate enough recoil to matter. Same sort of thing.

CHAOS! PANIC! DISORDER!
My job here is done.
