Every day I log in hoping for info on Tzeentch Demonkin, and every day it's more Age of Sigmar.
I like Sigmar, but enough! Give me Tzeentch!

You know what they say about hope being the first step towards?!
While I'm also itching for some new Tzeentch goodness, there's really no point expecting ANYTHING Chaos related any time soon, as various reliable rumor posters have repeatedly come out and said that 40k Chaos won't be seeing anything new this year...
We've got solid rumors of Tau up next, (likely release in & through most of October), and then rumors of IG being next on the list of things to come.

We got some rumors of a Tzeentch Covenant similar to the Librarius Conclave. Bonus to powers with an Str stat and bonus to Deny the Witch. A Level 3 (or Ahriman) and up to four (might be 3) Sorcerers. Could be interesting for a Bike army, but that's the only rumor I know of right now.

Aren't all the latest batch of so-called "rumors" from BoLS/Naftka? Those guys are to the point of literally just making gak up and polishing it as 'rumors'. Sad Panda, H&H, Lady Attia, etc... ALL the currently on-the-spot rumor mongers have said no 40k Chaos in the foreseeable future.
We know Tau are up soon.
We know Heresy Marines/board game release is on the horizon.
We know that Chaos is the currently most wish-listed & badly wanted update, but we have no reliable hints or even vague info on anything for Chaos Marines especially, except that both Harry & Hastings have been saying for over a year now that all 4 Greater Daemons are done in new plastic kits and are awaiting their release.
Besides, the one and only reason we got the KDK codex was to sell us the new Bloodthirster kit for 40k... Sad Panda has said the Daemonkin was purely a one-off and not setting up for any kind of additional expansion set. (Hastings IIRC stated that we might get more Daemonkin books if the first one well exceeded expectations, but nothing was written in stone...)
Add the fact that the Daemonkin book didn't even fix any of the actual problems with the CSM portion especially, and it lends even more credit to the purely 'one-off' theory. Besides, if KDK is any indication, I wouldn't honestly want any more of those books, as they'll likely follow suit and continue to leave CSM's with their many, many, glaring issues.
We have to just suck it up and face it... GW has no real desire to give CSM's especially any kind of effort or love right now. Between the fugly & old as gak model line that needs a near 100% overhaul, and the abysmal state of our rules being so badly behind everyone bar Sisters, it really is beginning to look like Chaos is simply going to be left out on the curb to rot.

Well the thousand sons primarch (magnus the red) is basically the red headed step-child that was unloved.

Yeah well as bad as I feel about telling you sisters still won't get an update. Be happy though as what happened to sisters of battle isn't as bad as what happened to warhammer fantasy.

That's how I felt about the work codex.
Felt....past tense.
Now I wish they had forgotten they exist to a couple more years.

On the other hand. IG players must be so happy they're allowed to drop cash on another dex not even two years after the last one.
|
You don't have to be happy when you lose, just don't make winning the condition of your happiness. |

I'm not sure you understand what happiness is, based on this comment.

Tzeentch deamonkin? again? Is this the new plastic Sisters?
I don't think GW is really all that fond of Tzeentch. They only make stuff for Khorne and Nurgle.
We are probably going to see more Nurgle stuff before we ever see Tzeentch, let alone Slaanesh.
Now where is my plastic Thunderhawk?

Hey i'll have you know before the 'age of sigmar' bait and switch of ultimate horror the big news was super slight upgrade accessories to spess mehreens. Just some slightly flashy wargear upgrades that were completely not needed. I was waiting desperately for 9th edition and to have an army book that wasn't made for an edition it was currently in (a 7th book with it's life almost completely in 8th edition). Still somehow some people were utterly convinced skaven were OP even with the elf nonsense and stupid end times stuff the other factions got. Basically when you fought skaven outside of ETC tournament lists (which normally made skaven the most powerful due to the way the restrictions were) then skaven had some gimmicks but generally weren't that great. According to one friend every game (probably a normal rules game without end times) he'd see with skaven tended to end in skaven defeat. Also apparently due to what he saw and fought chaos dwarfs were stupidly OP as they were good at everything and blew away an opponent before they got to em. Anyway point is the internet said chaos dwarfs were balanced so basically the internet is full of idiots but that's no surprise to anybody I'm sure.
Anyway I'm just bitter. All GW had to do for fantasy is branch out their market by making video games and books for fantasy like they finally started doing with total war. Several hundred thousand views on some of those videos within a few days. You tell me that wouldn't have helped fantasy a lot and you're a fool. I mean Total War is big and dawn of war got me into 40k. This is basically what GW needed to do to get fantasy back on track and it was happening. Then they killed it for space marines in fantasy and killed off the whole lore and even the game itself. Maybe the video games will change GW's mind but I don't know.
So yeah I apologize for the rant but this is the worst thing GW did by a lot and considering their history that's a statement. So yeah I can feel for anybody getting less attention than the beloved space marines. Just be glad your whole setting didn't get trashed and turned into balancing a coin on your nether regions for immature lolz. I wanted 9th edition and what I got was a beer drinking game for 40k players.
Btw just so you know how bad it is I actually considered moving on to 'infinity' or some cold war tabletop game. My issue mainly is finding people that will play the game, actually liking the factions and game and also importantly being able to play this game several years later because the company didn't go bankrupt.

Except we have strait-up confirmations from both Harry & Hastings that ALL the Greater Daemons have new, finished plastic kits waiting for a release window... And both Tzeentch & Slaanesh got the lions share of the spotlight in both the Codex Daemons releases to date. (not to mention, new units galore!)

*pats you on the head* Or I could just be happy with my borderline top-tier Sisters army and enjoy playing the game I have. But, you know, whatever floats your boat.

this book with probably never happen, or if it does, will happen very far down the line.
It's a rumor in the same vein as the kroot mercenaries codex, a rumor that took off and very quickly put down roots with no hard evidence to support it out side of pure conjecture
