Hey all!
I was wondering recently whether or not GW consider it okay to use certain Warhammer Fantasy models to represent 40k models. Specifically, I want to use the 'Wurrzag Da Great Green Prophet' model as a Weirdboy for my Ork army. I also have a set of Black Orcs which I gave guns and use as 'eavy armour Nobz when I play with my friends.

I would've thought that would present no problem whatsoever. Especially if you've actually taken the time to convert them into more 40k style greenskins.
Are they on square bases or round? I guess that aesthetically, that's the only potential fly in the soup!

If you've converted the models I can't see it being an issue. As long as you're on the correct base size and have represented gear you should be fine. There's tons of awesome and creative possibilities too.
Other factor, do you really need to worry about GW's official take on it? I can't imagine it would be a huge issue unless you play in a lot of tournaments or GW stores. Though since you're in the UK you might find yourself at more GW stores on average.

We mainly play at a GW store when we're not playing at each other's houses. I guess the only solution would be to just go and ask.

I would be surprised if anyone noticed anything other than some neato conversions Anyway, GW themselves are heavily going the other way by introducing space Marinesinto Fantasy, so why not

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

GW just want it to be mostly made from their figure. That really don't mind conversions.

It's pretty common to use converted fantasy models in 40k, I've seen it done countless times in WD.
