Isn't it time we had a sub-forum just for discussing Warlord Games rulesets and products? Last time I 60% of topics on the first page of the historical sub-forum were about Warlord or their dependencies.

So whenever we have this kind of discussion keep in mind there is a presumption against creating any new sub-fora. So there really needs to be a compelling reason to rebut that presumption and I don't think we have one in this case. Even if the majority of threads posted in the Historicals sub-forum are about Bolt Action or Hail Caesar or Black Powder, etc., both those threads particularly and that sub-forum generally are pretty slow. I don't think there is a problem of WLG discussion drowning out non-WLG discussion, for example. More problematic, as far as this topic goes, is that discussion of non-historicals WLG games like Beyond the Gates of Antares or Terminator (I know, only distributed by WLG) gets drowned out in the Misc Miniatures Sub-Forum. But I think it stands to reason that the problem there is less them getting drowned out and more that folks on Dakka just don't have a lot to say about them (yet, maybe). We can always revisit this idea if it becomes more urgent but I don't think we'll see an issue in the foreseeable future.

I think most recent sub-forums are the result of the community coming together to show that the demand for a new forum is there and demonstrating that by actively and consistently participating in the current sub-forum.
Dakka isn't big on "if you build it, they will come" kind of forums, but if they can visibly see that the community is big enough to justify a split without harming the new, or the old, sub forum then they often listen.

Also do Warlords games (even their historical games) have enough in common?
Would a WWII forum (for example) make more sense?
The Miniatures Page divides by era, mgiht that be better for historicals?

Bolt Action has more in common with Gate of Antares than BP/P&S/HC so... not really. I'd divide it up by era.

Fixture of Dakka

A WWII forum would put both of the most popular historical games in the same forum. I'm not sure that would help anything.
