Trying to put together a workable EpicA list, from the old GW ruleset (the one they had out before they closed the 6mm line).
I'm trying to create a tank-heavy themed list, but I've never played Epic in my life, and I only barely know the rules. Aside from gaming, I'm pretty certain these are the sorts of models I want, from the supplier I've found.
Any tips for an EA noob?

If you want to use Steel Legion list, I do suggest you'd take one company of shadowswords. This will help against any possible War Engines of opponent. Also the Regimental HQ is really useful as it gives you the Supreme Commander. You can try without it, but it is probably useful.

For support; the Storm Troopers do need the Valkyries to be more useful. I don't think I've seen them without. Although in a list with no other infantry, perhaps they can be used as garrison to area terrain. As cheap alternative, the Flak Battery is a good one.

You are light on AA with that. I'd suggest dropping second Storm Troopers and getting two sets of Thunderbolts and a single Hydra to one of the Tank Companies. This would make one of the the BTS target instead of both.

However try it out and see what works best for you .
