If you're looking to steamroll people in friendly games it won't be that much fun. If you are looking to play in a competitive tournament it should do ok provided you can table someone. In a maelstrom setting you will be hurt as you have no scoring on the ground other than a single lictor which will be dead as soon as it shows up. I'd rather a single venomthrope to ensure you have some cover saves in case you don't have first turn. Hide him out of sight to keep your flyrants 2+ jinking save. Or don't jink hide in ruins and have a 2+ cover save.
It will get boring fast...

The tyrants are there to assist him so he can do his thing. The single lictor is the lynchpin of this army. It needs only one.

I don't think you realize how weak a single lictor is going to be when it is the primary target on the board. The flyrants are going ot be ignored simply becuase most unit will not have a better shot against the Lictor.

Oh so that one Lictor is going to control all those Objectives as and when you draw them?
Wait no I understand those Flyrants will land and claim objective cards (side note, NEVER do that).
You're better off getting a Venomthrope. At least it can serve your army (2+ Jink/ruins cover save) that keeps your army alive.
Anything, literally anything (bar the Pyrovore) would be better than a Lictor in this list.

With a list like this, he's probably going for the Table My Opponent approach. I don't think objectives came to mind seeing how he took the absolute minimum troop tax.

You're better off running lictor shame than this kind of list. Lictor shame would also be way more fun to play with in my opinion but that's only if I want to get a new army of bugs.

Well, it's a nasty list. But as everyone else said that lictor is going to be annihilated the instant that he shows up, as everyone is going to ignore the flyrants.

Are you seriously claiming to have played162 games with this list?
And on top of that to have never lost?
The Internet is a hard place to determine another mans character so I'm not sure if you're just having a laugh or genuine but bore off have you played that many games & counted them all for that matter.
Lists like this do poorly in maelstrom themed events- especially as 7 of the 8 scoring units are airborn. You'd be better off dropping 2 Flyrants and adding in mawlocs & lictors if you want the good list- there's a reason it's popular!
