So its been awhile since I've been in the game, and I've always wanted to do a list like this. Battlesuit filled list with a Mobilesuit Gundam style paint scheme. I don't know if this is cheese or not because I haven't played in 7th ed yet. Let me know if it is, trying to be competitive but still fun. Using Farsight enclave. Here we go: 1500pts

The idea, keep Burst Cannon Crisis in reserve to Deepstrike, put Commander with 2MissilePods in Drone Squadron to bs5 markerlight stuff, and the Commander with 2Fusion & ATA to. use Precision shot for Character hunting . I think it has a nice balance of anti-tank, anti-MEQ, and anti mobs. Could move around some points to Make the Burst Cannon Crisis Team have 2Fusion each. Thought about possibly ditching the Drone Squad+Missile Commander for something else, but not sure what. Thoughts?

I think you might need more fusion blasters. One idea is to turn one of you crisis squad with 6 fusion blaster and a buffmander and deep strike them behind one of the enemy main vehicule.

Buffmander is a commander from the Tau Empire codex with virtually every signature system strapped to him, but the most important is MSSS and CnC Node, giving whatever unit he is attached to ignores cover and twin linked if the commander doesn't fire any weapons. Add Irridium for T5 2+ to tank wounds.

Can't do it in Enclaves without allying in an Empire force since you can't take Empire Signature systems on an Enclave dude.

Some notes on your list;

- Don't mix weapon types, have 2 of the same weapon
- Don't mix drones, have all of 1 type
- Drone controllers don't work on Missile Drones
- Never take bodyguards when you still have troops slots as you're wasting points AND giving up ObSec
- I assume the Riptide is a typo, and meant to be 220 instead of 110? The HBC becomes a real alternative with the ECPA, strongly consider this as 12 Str 6 rending shots is pretty decent, especially buffed with markerlights and ECPA
- VRT only gives fleet when every member has it, you either need 3 and no drones for fleet or just take a single one if you want hit and run
- You have no anti flier defence, VRT on an HBC 'tide is very rough, as is a supporting Skyray for ignores cover on something with skyfire or bumping your killiest unit without skyfire to BS3
- You have very little anti tank, with only a paif of fusions on your commander and 1x twin linked on your riptide since all your missiles are BS2 and spread out
- Shas'Vre's are a wate of points unless you have a specific plan for them.
- You have a lot of anti infantry shooting here, but FMC's, GC's and AV13/14 will give your list a bunch of trouble and those are all very common things these days.

Well dropping the bodyguard costs and shasvrrs will open up some points. Was unaware missile drone loose out on controllers.
What wpuld be good options as far as anti tank/big creatures n such? Trying to keep infantry out of my force, but Im not opposed to vehicles.

Edit: also, is it possible to put two 6 man firewarrior units in the same Devilfish?

Either more Fusion suits or a skyray would be decent counters. 2 double fusion suits run an almost identical cost to a skyray but have better anti tank and can deep strike, especially if you've got a beacon. Skyrays bring networked skyfire ML's and can rack all their missiles T1 and remove/put some serious hurt onto most monsterous creatures, with flyrants being the classic example. Double Fusion Monats if your local meta has an obundance of vehicles, a skyray if you see lots of MC's (though fusion crisis double as decent anti monster too).

No, you can't put 2 seperate squads in 1 transport.
