All in the title here folks.

I'm going to be fighting mostly MEQ, so I think just Power Weapons and Combi-Plasmas for a group of three. Thoughts?

Yeah, that pretty much the way to go. The MoN is the best mark for a unit like this, since they will be targeted.

Most people around me like to swear by power axes or power mauls with combi meltas on all of them. Drop them in, nuke some armor, die to small arms fire the next shooting phase. If they're ignored. Axes and Mauls tend to hurt anything you throw them at.

Personally, If I'm playing a point limit that lets me field terminators, I can usually afford to kit them out in non point efficient ways. I think my standard layout is Lord with PF+LC, 2x Combi Plasma+Chainfist, and 2x Combi Melta+Lightning Claw. Not point efficient in any way, but it looks cool and tends to kill whatever I throw them at.

"Because we couldn't be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We've all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we've all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher's Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.

The Wolves will always come to the heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn't behave that way. Only a dog does.

That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

4 with either Mauls or Axes, and all either Combi-Plasma or Combi-Melta. Combi-Plasma is more forgiving on a bad deep strike, but Combi-Melta fulfills a more specific niche.

My old haunt was 3x combi melta and power axes.

I used to run three units of them and three units of two obliterators and two heldrakes. And then a comma relay.

Turn two was hilarious.

I run this exclusively, used to try the others, and still have my termi arms magnetized, but every time anymore its just CM and PA.
