Greetings Dakkanaughts.
So here I am with yet another thread. In a nutshell for those of you who haven't seen my previous topics I'm trying to open the door into the world of commissions. Why? Because I love painting miniatures.
My previous thread was in the painting and modeling forum but felt this was more for asking questions etc. I thought then perhaps to chuck this into the blog thread but to be honest I'm terrible at taking step by step photos and progress shots.
So here I am, I felt a showcase was more suited to the way I work and present things.

The blue was done using a foxhunter airbrush, Necron abyss for its base coat, followed by regal blue, then finally a mix o enchanted and regal blue.

Isnt there already a Kraken Miniatures? Or at least there was. One of the sculptors was a friend Allen C. from France. Hell of a painter won a couple swords at GW France.

Your minis are good but if you want to paint commisioins your going to have to get more contrast in your minis. Think about using an airbrush to speed things up.

An airbrush is quick and efficient tool, and if you're in commissions painting to make money it's a must, but if it's just a bit of money on the side because you enjoy painting then continue by hand if that's what you like, which is what I do.
(Also, I saw from the commissar eBay link you're in Exeter, I just moved there, ever go to the Games Workshop here?)

I've actually just started venturing into the world of airbrushing,still getting to grips with it.
