Cozy cockpit of an Archer ARC-5S

Hey all, as the title says, I am looking for a company that sells 28mm scale female astro- / kosmonaut heads, in particular those that are wearing the leather crash helmets, or whatever those are called that they wear under their regular space helmets:

Cheers!

Can't think of any commercial outfits that do those; but they'd be easy to convert from Vitoria Miniatures female bald heads.

Cut a narrow strip of greenstuff and wrap it from the neck on one side to the neck on the other. Gently pinch it into place and draw the back together into a seam. Use a blade or thin strip of card to make the indentations on the top; and the end of a propelling pencil into the sides to make earpieces.

If I was handy with greenstuff I'd do it myself, but I'm not, hence me asking.

UK

I don't know of any off hand,

but the helmets look very similar to WWII Russian tank headgear so you might be able to find some there?

I'll have a poke around and see if I can find anything

Crooked Dice I checked first, in the hopes of them having female balaclave heads, but alas.

I do have a set of bald heads from Statuesque Miniatures should I be unable to find a store that sells them, I'll just have to find someone who can sculpt without charging ludicrous amounts.

You sir have made a very astute observation right there.

Maybe trying a bunch of WW2 28mm ranges would be your best bet BrookM, start with Warlord and go backwards?

Female heads, that's what I'm after and the bit ranges of big companies I know well enough by now that I'm posting the question here.

Okey-dokey. How about Tamiya?

No promises you'll find what you need, but Aurora might have something fitting (if very expensive) in their 1:48 range

Wonderland have some 1:48 scale Russian Tank crew with the headgear style you want. You might consider cutting the faces back and replacing them with the heads you want. Of course, you could also do a lot with painting on male heads – at this scale, filing the jaw and brow back and a softer paint job will give a more feminine appearance.

Thanks, but 1:35 is not the same as 1:56 / 28mm scale.
