I've been browsing around for Mordheim and SoS tactics, and I've come up with the following list:

Matriarch - 70
2x Sigmarite Warhammer - 30

Augur - 25
Hammer - 3
Sling - 2

2x Superior - 70
2x Steel whip (1 each) - 20
2x Sigmarite Warhammer (1 each) - 30

Superior - 35
2 handed hammer - 15
Heavy Armour - 50

3x Sisters - 75
3x Hammer (1each) - 9

2x Sisters - 50
2x Bucklers - 10
2x Hammers - 6

Total: 500gc

The idea is basically to have a whip Superior take the charge and then let the Matriarch charge in afterwards. Augur's staying back as always, and also the reason it's the only one with a sling. Regular sisters take charges and are usually followed by a Superior. I'm iffy about the heavy armour & large hammer, but i wanted to have something really hard hitting. Same with Bucklers, I'm not sure if to change them to Shields, since they cost the same.
The idea is to have a fluffy and viable warband. Any thoughts?

Oh, and it can be assumed eveyone has their daggers. Never leave home (the temple) without them!

Sisters only get slings, and i loathe using a lot of slings to gain that small wall of rocks flying your way. I plan to just stay out of sight of the enemy ranged units as much as i can, since they'll beat me senseless anyways in a ranged fight. Basically just run at the enemy with the whole warband to make them fall back. I rolled Hammer of Sigmar as my prayer, though i wish i'd gotten healing hands.

That being said, Sisters are a solid warband. The standard feedback I give on warbands is that armor is worthless early on (criticals and high S ignore most if not all of it), and there is really no reason for bucklers, etc. compared to two hammers, or hammer/dagger, hammer/club, etc.

I found good luck with the whips in my game, took out quite a few goblins. We're also playing gentlemen's Mordheim, so armour has more value. And like i mentioned i'm looking for a fluffy warband because i'll be writing the campaign using them, and a sling wall doesn't make for the greatest narrative.

I'm sure you're using ge advanced criticals from the book? We found those to be fun, easier on armor, and gave a reason to use different types of weapons.
