So, I was just curious, Does anyone here run multiple marine armies from diferent codexes? Like, I have Space Wolves and I like them, But I also want to make a Imperial Fists army (Or maybe Crimson Fists) And I like the other marines too.. So I started thinking, Does anyone here actualy play multiple marine armies?

I've been thinking about this. I'm doing Dark Angels at the moment but I really want to get some Blood Angels (want me some Death Company).

For the greater good...

White Scars/Imperial Fists player here.

Two symmetrical opposite tactics, one rushes forward, the other stays back and shoots

I dont mean as allies, I mean owning and ocasionaly playing multiple space marine armies seperately. Such as owning Blood Angels and Dark Angels, And using both of them seperately ocasionaly.

I play Imperial Fists. I also play Dark Angels RavenWing and DeathWing. Two totally different styles of play. One shoots and depends on heavy weapons and bolters, And the other is a very nice Hammer and anvil tactic.

I have a few squads worth of vanilla tacticals. I also am in the process of building a Dark Angels army. Probably keep the vanilla tacticals for the basis of a future SM army.
Dark Angels will be my 5th army of at least 2500 pts. I also have 3 other armies under 1k.
Dark Angels are the first Imperium Army I've built with the exception of a 850 pt Guard/Inquisition force.

I have White Scars and Hawk Lords (as Ultramarines). I also have some Space Wolves.

I ally in Grey Knights if you count them as SM.

Blood Angels, Ultramarines, Astral Claws and Chaos Marines. Each with a different theme. Ultramarines are/will be Infantry heavy if I ever get around to updating the friggin army for 7th. They keep getting pushed to the back burner. Astral Claws are Terminators and Bikes and Blood Angels are Jump Packs and Armor. CSM is just CSM but Red Corsairs use a lot of my Astral Claw models, so a lot of Bikes there too.

Each Chapter had a play style and some buffs that appealed to me. Dante's Warlord Trait and Fast Vehicles for BA, Scout Speeders and Skilled Rider Astral Claws, traditional fluffy options in 3rd Company and Infiltrating Flyers for Ultramarines.

I enjoy playing marines and really find their background interesting. I play Salamanders and Raven Guard primarily but have a sizable Imperial Fists army when the occasion calls for it and a Grey Knight Detachment. Each of the lists are build to the Chapter's strengths and I keep the armies themed/based on what I read in the books. I'm also currently in the works of adding a Space Wolf army and possibly a Dark Angels when I'm done.

Imperium:
Salamanders – 2500, Raven Guard – 3000, Imperial Fists – 3000
Imperial Guard – 5000, Militarum Tempestus – 2000, Grey Knights – 1500

Xenos:
Tau – 2500, Tyranids – 1500, Eldar - 500

I run a Chapter of my own colors. Therefore I just create a list and then choose Chapter Tactics based off it.

Yea, for sure Blood Angels (sometimes as vanilla marines), Grey Knights, and a smattering of Dark Angels. And I have some Ultramarines, too. Oh, and Space Wolves.
