Currently I have almost 2k points of Orks. I have 8 Deffkoptas, 12 Lootas, 2 Trukks, 30~ish Boys, Warboss, Painboy, 12 Nobs, 6 Kans, 3 Mek Gunz, and a Dakkajet and a BattleWagon. What would be a good fit for the rest of my army? I'm thinking a Deff Dread so I can run a Kan screen, or possibly more Lootas. Thoughts?

I think one or two deffdreads would be good. I love them but I run a dread mob often. Other than that I would get some grots they are wonderful little buggers to sit on objectives.

Id say some Meganobz. A squad of three is how you wanna run em with 1 set of Killsaws. Work great in a Trukk or looted wagon.

Tankbustas are a Morksend to the Ork dex so look to pick up (or kitbash) some. More Boyz and the means to transport them to the enemy line would be beneficial as well. Meganobz for some MANZ Missile action would give your army some heavy hitting potential. Lootas are good option as they provide some ranged fire support and can help with taking down medium AV targets.

You mentioned running more walkers which honestly is a bit of an all or nothing tactic. What I mean by that is you either spam a ton of walkers (Dread Mob) or generally avoid them as they tend to not synergize with the more mobile units Orks utilize.

Based on what I have (3 filled HQ slots already), I think more Tankbustas would be a good option. I have my Rokkit Koptas with Busssaws, but I may switch them to general S5 shooting and scouting.

If your ever given a choice between a Big Shoota or a Rokkit you take the Rokkit. Can't have too much Str 8 AP3 shooting, not like Orks are in need of Str 5 volume of fire.

Deff Dreads, that way you can run Dread Mob if you ever feel like it.

Mek Gunz too but they are expensive (unless you're good at conversions).

Actually, what I've been using are great. I haven't really had to do much conversions to them.

Tankbustas. I convert them from boyz (I use the extra backpacks, stikkbombs and tankbusta bombs from ebay.)

Other than that, fill out your squads: 3 more lootas, 2 more mek guns.
