So, we can double up on power swords, chain swords etc.... What about Power Fists, or Thunder Hammers? Still strike at I1, but man apart from the expense, WHAM BAM!!!
Has anyone ever done this? I even thought of taking one model with this crazy setup in a Squad of 10 maybe...

Until every model in a unit has a PF, you'd be much further ahead to give a second model a fist. Consider that for 50 points, you could have 5 PF attacks, or 8.

By the time you're down to one guy... they're toast anyhow.

That was kind of my plan... Do that but on one or two go with dual fists... Thoughts? Points yes... But at 1000 or 1500 what's 50 points?

A space marine assault bike with a multi-melta.

A landspeeder with either a heavy bolter or a heavy flamer.

A rhino and an extra space marine in another squad.

A drop pod and a special weapon.

50% of a Dreadnought.

10 melta bombs

Most of the cost of a Librarian.

An Aegis Defense Line.

There is so much more you can get for 50 points than a pair of power fists on one dude. If you have to have them, I strongly recommend that you spread them around and not give both to one model. The +1 attack is not worth it.

On a serious note, do DC peeps have access to Lightning Claws? Fist/Claw is better in every mechanical way than Fist/Fist.

Don't believe me? It's all in the numbers.
Number 1: That's terror.
Number 2: That's terror.
Dark Angels/Angels of Vengeance combo - ???? - Input wanted!

Sadly no. Apparently LCs are too sophisticated weapons for DC marines. Or too short - at that range they're just as likely to rip the enemy to shreds with their armored hands.

Now that IS odd.
And kinda sad, Fist/Claw seems like it could be pretty handy for them. Certainly is something to consider for Vanguard Vets, who only pay 20 points for that combo.
