Hello Dakka, Does anyone have any good ideas or models that resemble starcraft armies? I have seen some good zerg and terran armies converted up but what about protoss? Been feelin protossy lately with the new legacy of the void on the way and I think Khorne bezerkers would make cool zealots while using daemons and sorcs as templars and such. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato

Here's a pic I found in the Dakka gallery of a Protoss-themed Eldar army:
Somebody did good work on this!

I saw that! That is a gorgeous paint job! Hmm I wonder if the wraithguard would make good Zealot conversions

Eldar Wraithblades make great Zealots =D, Tho rules wise howling banshees make more sense.
The best Protossy Army tho I would say Is Mechanicus:
Ruststalkers with the blades shooting straight out instead of being held, perhaps use the blades from bloodletters(only the blade not the hilt) to make them look more plasma-y and in motion, the rules basically make the fully upgraded Zealots.
The Dunecrawler Makes a great Stalker/Imortal/Dragoon
Kastelean Robots could be your archons
Ally in Inquisitors with psykers to be your High Templars and Callidus Assassin, as your dark templars
I think it would be good ^^

I did some Zealots for my Terranwing counts as Deathwing army.
Counts as assault terminators. I reckon that their power fields are at least the equal of clunky terrain power armour
I bulked up the bases a bit to equalise the height with the terminator based Marines.

The TF marines made good Marines for starcraft if you changed the helmet but, so too do Terminators with a visor and some rounding out with GS.
I hope you go the eldar route with the Protoss!
