I played an apocalypse game on Tuesday in which I used a similar unit to this one and I managed to make it even crazier in this 1850 list. Let me know what you think!

Ezekiel
3*Mastery lvl 2 librarians on bikes with force axes, 2 have melta bombs and 1 has Eye of the Unseen

DA CAD:

Interrogator-Chaplain, bike, Mace of Redemption, auspex, melta bombs
Sammael

Azrael

RW Command Squad, 6 knights inc. apothecary, champion, banner, grenade launcher

Darkshroud with Signus Prime LoG
2*3 man bike squads, meltas and gravs with combi-weapons and melta bombs

2 scout squads with CCW

My squad butchered everything in its way in the apoc game, I'd imagine this one would do the same even better. Knights would most likely be the end of this list because I can't reliably kill them before they get to stomp and those melta bombs aren't going to save me every time. I don't think this list would be very competitive but it'd most likely be fun to try out in this form.

Dark Angels had the original Librarian Conclave, so yes they can.

Its called "Dark Angels Librarius Conclave" if you want to use the formation

Where is that formation? I'm a Chaos player who got sick of crap units and always losing. I'm starting a Dark Angels army. I don't remember seeing that formation in the codex, admittedly, I just got the codex the other day and have only browsed through it quickly.

It's not in the Codex, you have to buy it separately, and it's strictly-worse than the C: SM one.

Nope, but I'd take him anyway in this list. The extra attack bubble is nasty especially when you combine it with furious charge and zealot.
