Some shots from this past weekend down in PA. They're mostly from my games but I did manage to snap some shots of the other games as well as some army shots at the end. Enjoy!

Nice!

How many players were there in the tournament?

EA is such and epic game when the armies are painted on decent tables like this. You can see why it sold so well back in the day.

The models look great, although I don't understand how people can paint models that tiny, I have trouble on modern 40k figs

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

I've always found that's a bit of a misconception that smaller scales are harder to paint.. If anything its easier for smaller scales I find since you can dry brush the majority of it (greyscale works well too) you can get allot done quickly and nicely. Then just do whatever highlights to finish an from 4 feet away they will look great..

You then take a bit of time on the centrepiece models.

Wow, why can't this be in the UK?
Epic is an amazing game and its a shame more people don't play it.

Also, any idea who's nids those are?
The conversions are simply amazing!
I need to know how those were done lol.

The UK has the highest concentration of Epic players, just post of TacComms, there's bound to be someone near you.

The nids are gunslinger007 on TacComm. Done are resin models, some conversions he did or bought.

There are a number of Epic tournaments in the UK and quite a few clubs that play as well. My current club plays a lot of Epic if happen to be near Birmingham.

I lived in Gosport until January so we could have had a game or two

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
