Been out of the scene aside from family and close friends for a long time. I searched through this forum and a lot of the DMV threads seemed old and the stores mentioned appear to be closed so figured I'd make a new thread.
Any gamers in/around Maryland (I'm in the Howard County, Anne Arundel County area) have a favorite shop they buy and game at?

Check out DropZone in Glenn Burnie that place is epic. Dream WIzards in Bethesda still has their wednesday night wargaming.

I saw them mentioned in the other thread, but the number on their website and facebook is disconnected. Are you certain they're still open?

Yea, that's the drop zone mentioned above. I guess I'll take a drive down to Glen Burnie and just knock on the door.

Dropzone closed 18 October. Had a 40% off everything sale before that. They are going to try to reopen at a new location in about a year, so the rumor goes.
In Glen Burnie, look at Games-n-Stuff It is a nice place.

Games n stuff is by far your best bet! A bummer about Dropzone, though (I stopped by for the sale and only found out they were closing by talking to the staff then). Games n stuff is going strong, though, and is only a few minutes away (partly why Dropzone had a hard time financially).

Another vote for Games & Stuff. One of the few game stores I've visited that is actually professionally run. They've got gaming sense, too, but they understand things like clearance of stuff that's not moving, friendly engagement with customers, lots of play space, helping to link players, etc.

Whaaaat?! Man that place was huge :( The last time I was in there was June/July whenever the Dark Angels Codex was released, but I had no idea they were on the brink of closing.
Anyway OP, Games n Stuff is somewhere in Glen Burnie (B&A Blvd I think), and the Bowie GW isn't too far, literally right across the AA line past Crofton.

Damn. That's a shame to hear about Dropzone. Though any time I was in there it seemed like everyone was painting or playing and not buying. Plus rent at that location couldn't have been cheap.
I'll second Games & Stuff. Their selection is incredible and though I've never played there, they seem to have a ton of tables.
I believe the GW in Columbia is still up & running. I know the GW in Bowie is.

My shop of choice is Titan Games and Hobbies in Timonium. They have knowledgeable staff, paint stations, and plenty of tables with great terrain. They stock some of the smaller lines such as Guildball, as well as the major ones like Malifaux and 40k.
There are other shops in northern MD such as Critical Hit Games and Bel Air Games.
