hows this for a Mechanized infantry force

in other trys i had two LRBT replacing both the command tanks with two scicon squads in chimeras, but so many transports feels like a waste of points.

First thing you need to do is drop those wargear point costs. It's against the rules.

In regard to list it's ok. Pask's unit is fine but I would change his sponsons to multimeltas. Add lascannon as well.

Vets could use more melta since they're bs4. Maybe chimera in place of taurox.

Id split Scions into 2 squads and get melta into both.

LRBT is ok but I do always try to get wyverns. For the LRBT drop the lascannon because it'll have to snapshot if you fire the battle cannon.

Not if it stays still, and it is a cheep way to get a lasscannon in, though the multimeltas would cover that area i guess.

Am i right in saying that the scion prime squad leader or what have cant have a hot shot lasssgun but only a pistol? two squad would make them much more adaptable though.

Unfortunately, the ordnance rule on the battle cannon does not let it fire the lascannon normally. I know russes are heavy but doesn't override this rule.

Your scion question is bit confusing but i would put 2 meltas in each squad and that's it.

what i meant is can the tempestor have a hotshot lass gun instead on the pistol and close combat weapon?

No I think he can only take that or plasma pistol.
