I'm looking for the above bits (and other "steampunk" or Ad Mech style bits) for an IG project I'm starting. Pipes would be small enough to fit on/in vehicles such as lemon Russ and chimera.

I've done lots of searching and found plenty of gears (mediocre ones) and power cables, as well as some fuel tanks and reactors, but I'm having trouble finding piping of the right size. Anyone know of any?

Thank!

Any model train store will have brass tubing or plastic tubing.

I may be an donkey-cave, but at least I'm an equal oppurtunity donkey-cave...

Yeah, I have looked at them and they do have some good pistons and cables. No pipes though

Thanks, I will have to check them out. Not really any model train stores in town that I can think of, but there is a Hobby Town

For gears, cogs, and general steampunky stuff, look for spare/broken watch parts. You can buy them in bags online (pretty pricey, though, first results to come up on ebay are about £9 for 50 grams, which is a fair number of parts but not all of it will be useful) or just ask at your local watch shops/jeweller if they have anything like that they could sell/give you.

But yeah, they're great for AdMech, Iron Hands, Steampunk stuff in general.

Thanks for the tips. That Green Stuff World has lots of good stuff.

Still don't see any pipes though; that's the main thing I'm having trouble finding in the right size. Promethium Relay Pipes are stylistically what I'm looking for (not the spikes though), but in about 25% or less of the scale where it'd easily fit on and in IG vehicles.

I use small insulated cables and wires for pipes.

Also if you have a screwdriver, you can just buy junk watches at charity stores for pence and break them down for parts. No need to buy pre-sorted parts.

You can buy plasticard piping from most hobby stores. Anywhere that sells model trains should have it.

Evergreen have a huge range of rods and pipes in all different sizes that should suit your needs.

Yep, watch parts, one 50g bag did me for about 3000 points of Iron Hands (only on the infantry, but still)
