I've been watching table top tournaments.com for a little bit for Europe tournament standings and I keep seeing that the inquisition seem to consistently place very well. I am curious what a competitive inquisition list looks like.
Anyone play competitively with the inquisition here that does well w care to share?

I've honestly never ever seen anyone doing just pure inquisition. They are awesome, but I feel better to fill gaps.

Inquisitors are handy as cheap psykers. There's also the hypothetical xeno inquisitor rad grenade spam tactics, which I've never actually seen it been used, but you could potentially instantly kill any marine unit by simply charging 4 inquisitors into the squad (after charging a 3 man acolyte squad to soak up overwatch)

What most do is put him in a conscript squad/50 man IG blob

They are a great allie army to fill a gap. That said, as a pure force on there own, I don't see that as viable outside of small games. Even with the IA FAQ that allows them to valks as fast attack choices, they are missing to many things to work at a bigger game.

I occasionally use a 1k inquisition army, coteaz in a firebase of servitors, jokeros and acolytes, a malleus inquisitor running around with death cults and arcoflags, an inquisitor with hellrifle and jokeros, and a psyker in each unit to give prescience and allow the inquisitors to take disciplines that take models off the table. It is very effective, but mainly because people don't often come up against it. If you play the same people regularly, it won't take them long to work out the army, and easily tackle it.

The henchmen are also very powerful - war hymns on priests is a nice rule for guardsmen, but combined in a unit of crusaders with storm shields iit's downright rude.
