Good day, I'm planning a 1850pts list for an upcoming campaign. I will play any type of mission, from Maelstorm to Eternal War and also some special scenario. Will play against pretty much every team. I fear Eldar, Necron and Tau the most, but people at my shop are friendly and the competitiveness will be kept at a level that please both players Leave comments and critiques! Thanks Dakka!!! Oh and btw, I want to keep a Nurgle style army, and possess no daemons models.

Strategy is pretty simple. Sorcerer hang out with the 25 plague zombie, and roll for Biomancy for Endurance or Iron Arm. If I'm lucky and get it, I can also try my luck at Telepathy for some sweet invisibility. Typhus is with the 4 Termis, in the LandRaider. Army push forward, some Zombie can stick to the back for objective, and the bigger blob can intercept melee oriented foe and tarpit them. What do you guys think?

Well, it looks like it could be a fun list to play. It won't be super competitive with so many points in Typhus, Land Raider, and Terminators, but on a good day they can get out and eat some units.

For your strategy I might suggest trying to put the Sorcerer with one of your Plague Marine squads, and roll him on Telepathy (at least once) to get Psychic Shriek. He can use it inside of the Rhino and it is quite powerful, it is even helpful against Wraith Knights, which is going to be one of several problem units for you.

I'd probably try to go all 3 on Telepathy though, so you get Psychic Shriek for free, and try for invisibility for sure. You really want to buff Typhus with it, or his land raider. It's also pretty amusing to make a Land Raider invisible and stand behind it so no one can see you...

Thanks for the quick feedback! If I were not to take a Landraider with Terminator, what unit would benefit the most the rest of my forces?

I created a similar list and started with a landraider kinda deathstar with typhus and sorcerer but in the end ended up with this list.

if you want death guard they are very fluffy for having their tough troops, in my opinion this is how it goes for me:

crimson slaughter

daemonheart lord planquin with sigil and mon and lc and pf
oblits

if death star terminators then take 10 of them with combi plasma or combi melta all with power axes except for champ who has lc

or if no death star then termicide with 3 melta

lots of plague marines in rhinos with 2 melta and combi melta and melta bomb

keep the vindicator just take another one and keep the oblits
