Hi all.I've got a small goff ork army and still have to expand a lot. An idea came to me for a warboss.
I want to scratchbuild a warboss but use pieces of armour and sorts from all the different armies on him that he has defeated. Then the idea started to grow even more. Want to get squads of boyz that are using one specific armies stuff.
The first squad I wanna try is a tyranid themed squad where the boyz are wearing those small tyranid things on them (like the indians do with wolf heads) and have the nob boss kitted out with the arms and stuff as armour.
Good idea, bad idea?

Thanks leaderlappen, will take some time to get scraps togevva as I am surely not gonna buy a box of each army just to use some pieces on my orks, it will be the end of me. So will have to start asking around and getting the odd bitz from people that they don't use (the optional parts you get in the boxes)

Thanks to you too crispy78, if postage was not such a shlep I would ask on dakka. But as it is it costs R100 to send something in s.a safely. So will have to start looking in my own province for spares.

Sounds badass!!! Maybe a hive tyrant/warrior head for a helmet and the talons for a sword! And maybe even a hive guard's shield!

Norn Iron

Sounds more deathskully than goffy, but otherwise great.

If parts are hard to come by in S.A., there's always Pratley.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

Shipping in s.a and to works out more than what bitz cost.

Took alook online at the tyrinad termigants, but the snap fit models, 5 for R125 does anybody know if it would be possible to use them for the conversion? Or would I need the glue together box set?

well warhammer is pretty expensive in countries where our exchange rate sux. Gonna be going with the cheap(cheaper) box sets for now and start with one boy of each armie, and that way I will have enough to have some for display. I've got an array of dumb figurines, ranging from mcdonalds toys to guitar hero slash that I'm planning to use in my sons room as display models.
