With the HH board game, they destroyed their market for Tactical Marines, Devastators, Dreads, and Termies (bar TH/SS). You get these units for cheap from ebay.

I disagree they've destroyed the market. You've got limited weapons for the Tacticals/Devs/Termies and lack of general options that the box sets come with. Additionally when you start bitting out those additional items you'll see the cost climb to the same or more than just buying the boxset would have been. Not to mention the difference in style with the weaponry in general.

Also with the HH board game they've taken strain off of FW and increased the likelihood of people getting into HH as the box set + legion specific upgrades is massively cheaper than it used to be. This move probably dragged a lot of new people in. And it was time when they had released most legions upgrade kits already so a lot of the people likely to build an HH army had already purchased the FW marines before this.

I'm pumped for the Deathwatch game but I'm trying not to get to excited as I don't want to be disappointed like with Execution Force (though it was a fun game and the models were neat it was just meh to me). A second HH game will be awesome and I'm interested in seeing what they do with the AoS board game.

Pretty! I'm hoping they aren't monopose but even if they are one squad will be nice

Would be pretty sweet if all of the stories are about the 10 deathwatch marines in this kit.

Hope they release a deathwatch kit like they did for blood angels and the like. 10 shoulderp pads and a few special bits

You do know that there is a Deathwatch upgrade kit on the GW site right?
Pads, heads, bolters

But a kit that has a few combi's, alternative plastic heads, a comple of generic symbol shoulder pads, and some cc weapons would work pretty well. Meant to be used in step with the current kit.

I'm getting at least one and possibly two of these. They are fantastic.

Free on the website for the rules is very, very nice. I'll probably pick up the actual white dwarfs from my local store because I like to get smaller purchases once in a while from him.

I'm definitely looking at 2 boxes. And I'll be looking to unload the SM from the second box if anyone is interested they can PM me.

Are they free?

It just says they will be available on the website.

Maybe I'm missing something or being too cynical...

They normally don't tout "on the website" if they are charging. They say, available for purchase or just leave it at available in WD *** in our webstore. It's similar to the actual Tyranid unit entries that are still on the website from when they did that release in their actual store entry so I'd say you're being to cynical.

Around 7ppm for the fearless, 4 attack on the charge, ws 4, st4, i4, rending and assault grenades is pretty dang sweet.

I'll probably go thru the warstore. 5% more off isn't worth getting it 2 weeks after its out from Frontline since I've had issues getting things in a reasonable amount t of time from them.

The Card Ogre has these going for $116 and should have plenty.

Nice! You can make sure that the models aren't all duplicates by swapping heads and such on the gc. Glad to see that.

I managed to snag a second set of tiles and cards from eBay for £8.75 all included. Cannot wait to set up a MASSIVE board for some homebrew scenario :-)

I'd put money on GW releasing a new scenario for Overkill since they've done that for Execution Force

Wha???

Where can I find this scenario? My wife and I enjoy the Execution force mechanics, but it's too easy. Another scenario or two would be nice.

It was in White Dwarf.

It's actually downloadable from the Black Library site as well when you can find the actual rules;
