Hey I have a harlequin force but I feel that it is missing a centrepiece. Are there any lords of war or something of that ilk that I've not seen?

Not for Harlequins, you have to ally in Eldar to get a LoW.

Sadly no, if you want a LOW you have to ally in Eldar most likely. Although you could paint it in Harlie colors to make it look better alongside your harlies.

Personally, I'd love to see a Great Harlequin as a non-superheavy Lord of War, but there's nothing quite like that at the moment. Eldar are the easiest way to get a Lord of War in your army, but Corsairs are getting an update with lots of superheavy options in the near future.

ATTENTION. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

I know someone who posed a wraithknight kneeling down, with the Scattershield and open hand, and he cut up a space marine model to make it all disjointed, and he made a space marine marionette for his wraithknight to play with.
The only time I've ever been ok with playing against a wraithknight.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!" |

While I doubt they use them very often, there is no reason any of the Eldar titans couldn't be Harliquins. For fluff purposes anyway.

Harlies often move through the lesser known webways. Any webway conduit large enough for a titan or warmachine would generally not be hard to find
Also, acting out the histories against a 100ft titan might be a bit difficult

Yeah, they are a cast of players who roam the webway as entertainers. If they arrived anywhere with a titan, it'd be immediate war. It isn't inkeeping with their suitable nature (also why they have no falcons, actors don't travel around in tanks). I like the idea of the webway guardians though, that would go well. Now I want two for my harlies!

Anything the eldar can use from forgeworld the haliquins can use (sourced from emails from forgeworld. So take with a bit of salt.) so paint up one of those new fw wraith Knights you should be good to go. Titans, now that people can only hit them on 6s are also good (you might not be able to play games anymore)

The problem you run into is IF you want to remain Battleforged, Harlequins lack the tools and the means to fit an Eldar LoW into any of their detachments. You cant even take a cad.

Indeed. You would have to take a detachment from Codex: Eldar to get the LoW slot.

But with their formations you can go unbound with no issue. Made an avatar of Cegorach a while back in proposed rules, it was pretty wicked...

Yeah I'm not advocating against building an unbound list, I'm just letting you know what you're getting into.
