I've been poking around at various loyalist chapters and interesting ways to run them, when I ran across the Siege Assault Vanguard. It looks like a fun, fluffy way to run Imperial Fists....but is it still a viable FOC to run with?

Sure it is if IA is allowed. Has some neat stuff in it and fits Imperial Fists pretty darn good.

Never touched it really, though.

I never tried out that formation. A CAD was always a solid play. Getting objective secured sterngaurd, or mass objective secured units in pods. I played Sentinels of Terra so getting in close was fine.

Imperial fists are fun though. Any formation you go just remember to build to there strength!
