Is there anywhere that you can look at all the tyranid formations in one? Like is it all in the leviathan supplement book (on a side note is that worth purchasing regardless) or are all of the formations spread all over. If they are can somebody list where i can find them, like i imagine the awful carnifex/stealer/warrior box comes with a formation because they have to be built a certain way?

So most of the formations come out of the series of Leviathen books. I think you can buy them all as a set? I picked them up off black library one at a time though. Some good missions as well

The Shield of Baal Leviathan book has the new units and most of the formations plus warlord traits and Leviathan detachment bonus rule.

It doesn't include the Trygon/Ravenor formation but that's it IIRC.

IF you can get it cheap then it'll be worth it. But 3 months or less to a new codex is possible. I'd browse the rules online first.

Though the fluff i have no idea about i'm afraid. I keep reading the Imperial Armour 4 Nid book is the best for stories though.

I've wanted the anphellion project for years (IA4) and when I found out they updated it I absolutely need to have that. I only saw mention of chaos getting a new dex, where is the nids info from? I'd absolutely love that and put off updating my nids until it comes out the besides the project I'm working on to make the guns look more organic.

Can anyone recommend if the fluff is worthwhile in the Shield of Baal book? For fluffs sake should I acquire the other Shield of Baal books if I go that route?

Also thanks everyone for the info keep it coming

I liked the fluff out of Baal. Not everyone will though. MUCH better than the Tau/Space Marine fluff overall except specific moments (the Obsidian Knight owning everything and Aun'Va finally getting what was coming to him, for example).
