Primus Medicae can't be a compulsory HQ. The 7th Ed FAQ gives them (along with librarians and Master of Signal) the support officer rule.
Also your heavy weapon squad will die a horrible horrible death. Drop 2 and get an imperial bunker, that way everything is in AV14 and you won't be dead from all the small arms fire.

Cool, thanks for the feedback on that. Did some dropping to get a Praetor in, and will take the bunker idea in mind. Need to see if I can my hands on one and suitably Death Guard it out.

Power Scythes are an upgrade for Characters only. Legion Terminator Sergeants can take one, but the rest of the squad can't.

Thanks for the clarification, list has been updated to reflect that.

Praetors are a bit redundant with morty around, unless you want the 2nd beatstick. A chaplain is good as he hands out hatred and fearless which can be useful when morty jumps out of the unit.

Personally, I always try to have at least two anti-aircraft units in a *2,000pt* game. For 3,000pt I'd want 3-4.

I always find that Deathshroud underperform for me. I'd swap them out for Grave Wardens.

As far as anti-air goes, my meta is generally light on flyers. And given the sturdiness of the armor, I'm not as worried about that as perhaps I should be.
And for Grave Wardens, I'm trying to get my hands on the book for their rules but only have HH1 on hand currently. What do they do?

They have grenade launchers. One with Krak grenades and the other is a poisonous gas. I haven't got the rules to hand, but they are in the second of the red books.
Because I quite like the Death Guards right of War, some people might not but I find it fluffy.

They have assualt2 grenade launchers with krak and toxin (toughness test small blast) and can otherwise fire templates with the same toxin rule. Units charging them always count as making a disordered charge and count as charging through dangerous terrain. I think, I might be wrong about some stuff.

sounds like you may be using them wrong they almost always do amazingly for me, though I pair them with my medicae, and use them as wounds for my praetor

You could just use the deathshroud to fill the compulsory HQ slot.

Well they did once poison a bloodthrister to death. I just find that they don't hit anything hard enough, they basically have power axes and flames. Even with two wounds a piece. Doesn't mean I won't take them to stick with Morty......
