Hi all, needed severe motivation to paint so I figured I'd start a blog for this.

I have a ton of epic and I need to get painting it while expanding more on certain armies.

My squats are nearly finished build wise, just painting to do.
The Orks and necrons are both in building stages at the moment.


So, some pics to start with:


















So, squats are at full size ish I'd say now and started painting up some infantry.
Have a few more units to add yet but want some painting done first.

Orks are currently being built and need a ton of work.

Necrons are very new so only have 6 monolith's and the start of a night bringer conversion.


So, this is where I'm at so far, I do plan on building up some Tyranid soon too, but not just yet.

Just a small update, need to tidy it up a tad and add some freehand runes to break up colour in places, but pretty much finished.

Want to get chunks of it done and then go back and add in more detail as I go.

Excellent stuff which ruleset do you play?

We go by the 2E space marine rules, so the original rule set and expansions with the old cards

Quick and simple.

However, we are adding in netepic units to fill gaps and add other armies (like my necrons)


Also have more Tyranid on the way now too! (Biggest regret of my gaming life to sell them)




Also tinkering with photo editing apps as the camera isn't great, but the all cleans it up a bit and makes it viewable.

Nice I generally play Net Epic as well.

The older rules just seem to play alot more smoothly.

Also, the armies look like a proper army, Armageddon armies just seem like a small scale 40k army.

Currently basing a ton of stuff ready for painting.

Definitely. Personally I find Epic models paint much nicer on the sprue but based you can start gaming so swings and roundabouts!

I never paint anything on sprues, more so epic models as they can be a pain to slot into the bases as it is, let alone having to clean off paint first lol.


Minor update, but added some runes to the airship to break up the block of green.

Just a minor update really.
Colossus is now done with its observer gyrocopter.
Wanted to keep the theme of runes going on large spaces to break up colour too.

Should also have a new camera soon too, so better pics!

Wonderful stuff! Will be keeping an eye on this!

18 warrior stands
6 immortal stands
6 destroyer stands
6 monolith's
2 tomb spiders
Tomb stalker Titan (old metal spider)
1 monolith
