So one of the Raven Guards special units, on the charge they get old school furious charge, and the lightning claws

Anyone have any ideas on best unit size for them, tips on making the best use of that 1 turn cover, etc etc.

Also, they don't have jump packs?

Brb learning to play.

Warning From Magnus? Not Listening!

Holy Terra.

Min squad size (5?) would be best, and multiple units would be fun.

I think they have Jump Packs, as Jumps and Termis get Furious Charge.

Plus raven claws!

They do have jump packs. What made you think they don't?

He was probably going by the wargear, they don't have them listed(if I remember right, I don't have the book with me right now).

Doesn't matter though, they are listed as Jump Infantry, so it's all just fluff anyway.

Yeah, they're jump infantry with non of the things usually associated with jump infantry, no jump pack/wings. So fluffwise, I'd have to assume they are all super human Olympic long/ triple jumpers. Then also in terms of modelling

In their book description they have jump packs but it isn't listed in their war gear. It is probably not listed because you cant not take them. as they are required and the Jump designation already covers the rules, listing the equipment may have been ruled redundant

max squad size, with apothecary, praetor (or primarch) running around eating everything for lunch

I like slightly larger CC squads since the larger size of squads in 30k tend to hinder 5-man beatstick squads. though, if you can support them, a few 5-man squads would be pretty fun.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
