Hi guys, I'd very much appreciate any help with this.
I know that 99% of people do not use a base for a Chaos Soulgrinder, what I'm asking for is the rough footprint size for the model, please. Would it fit on the larger oval that is commonly used by fliers in 40K?

Secondly, does anyone have dimensions for the wheel part of a Skaven Doomwheel? Width and diameter if possible. If you're feeling especially generous, the height of the exterior shelf and axel.

To shed some light, I'm going to make a Slaanesh Soulgrinder by lashing two doomwheels together, adding some steeds and Daemonettes, and "lucky" guardsmen.
But I want it to match the footprint of the original angry lobster.

idk about the Doomwheel, but for the Soul Grinder its significantly larger then the flier base. its roughly 150mm wide and length can vary widely depending on how you spread its legs out but its somewhere between 120-170 mm

You might have to do a custom base for it, and if this is for the contest (which I assume it is) it may have to be a bit bigger than even normal for a scenic base.

It's for regular use. I have a 650pt Slaanesh Daemonkin army. I just think the Soulgrinder is hideous.

I hadn't banked on it being that large. Do you think anyone would object to it using the same base as an Exalted Chariot? I guess I could venture to my local and ask the staff for an idea.

Doomwheel dimensions:

New-fangled plastic one: 2 3/8" diameter wheel, 1 1/4" wide, with the platform 1 1/4" off the base.

Metal one (the koool one!): 2" wheel diameter, 1/2" wide (each; there's two actual wheels).

Sorry, no millimeters on my tape measure, here.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the particulate.
