Just curious about if they print them once in a while or once they sell out, thats it they are done. Just kinda looking into 30k and was fishing for information.

New ones are on the way sometime this year, as seen in the N&R thread about the recent Warhammer World event.

do the new ones replace the old ones or an addition to the ones that are out?

I just bought the gw calth box set and some legion upgrades. Is it better to order the black book next month or wait on the red? Is there more fluff in the black books? Fw is out of rhinos so I can't play anytime soon regardless.

From what I understand, the black books have fluff+rules, the red books are largely rules only. Also, you can use standard GW rhinos in your 30K armies.

The white text on the red side-bars are the *only* fluff in the Crusade army list book, and that's only because it was there in the original books. The Crusade Army list book is literally *JUST* an amended reprint of the Crusade Army list section from Book 1 plus any additional generic units added by books 2 & 3. The Isstvan Legions book is the same: It's literally a compendium of the Legion Specific Appendices to the Crusade Army list from books 1-3.

The black books are *mostly* fluff books, though they also contain scenarios and variant rules not reprinted in the red books in addition to the army lists.
