This might be old hat, but I was looking for some kind of system for organising ship load outs that I would likely use more than once. I was also interested in something that would let me move my ship cards around easily during a game. Came up with using dvd boxes. Not sure yet quite how useful it will be in practice but I thought I would share.
For this example I printed an inlay sheet based on card images sourced from one of the online record sites. You could also just use the cover to hold real cards in place. Nice and rigid. Space for counters. Can be kept for multiple games.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Love it. I was wondering about something like that myself a few months back.

Nice idea. Keeps things nice and neat, plus protects the cards somewhat.

I hope so
The only problem is for storage. Normal DVD cases are actually quite bulky. Maybe some slimline ones might work better.

IMO, no discussion of X-Wing or Armada organizer/play aids is complete with a mention of Sir Willibald's work with papercraft.

Not as cheap or easy as DVD cases, and not as great of a combo for transport and play in a single product, but it's hard to argue that they don't look cool. Comparatively easy to make too, just need to be careful about not printing it on TOO heavy of cardstock.

Those are very cool. Definitely something for keeping at home though with their bulkiness

I know a guy who uses something like a B5 sized card sleeve to organise everything. Slip all the cards in and then you have you ship ready to go. Of course I have no idea if that sort of thing is available outside of Japan.
