Hi all,

After waiting many'a long year, GW saw fit to release not one but two Adeptus Mechanicus Codices last year and as such I finally started the AdMech army I always wanted. None of it is built yet, so I thought I'd ask what might be the best way to go about putting it all together.

This is a list of everything I have. Any and all suggestions welcome (and I realise Skitarii and Cult are two different lists, but allies!):

2x Tech-Priest Dominus
4x Ruststalker/Infiltrator Boxes
6x Rangers/Vanguard Boxes
4x Breachers/Destroyers Boxes
2x Robot Boxes
2x Ironstrider/Dragoon Boxes
3x Dunecrawler (I have 4, but one has been seconded to another project)

Thanks!

I would assemble most of the Breachers/Destroyers boxes as Destroyers armed with Grav Cannons, they are just way too powerful to be ignored. The alternate plasma weapons for Destroyers are very good too if you don't want too much Graviton cheese in your list. Building one of each Skitarii unit isn't a bad idea as a lot of their formations use at least one of each individual unit in the codex. I would maybe go a 40/20 split in favor of Vanguard for the Rangers/Vanguard boxes, Vanguard are so insanely good but Rangers are great also. Generally though most of them are just great looking overall so go with what you like, especially if you aren't overly fussed about gaming. With the Dunecrawlers, I find all of the weapon options are great but if you need anti-air then a pair or trio of them with Icarus Arrays is amazing for that role, otherwise the Neutron Lasers are devastating.
