While looking for information on Perturabo's unique Shadowsword, I stumbled across some older posts on other forums that confused me. In those posts people were saying it could only be used in 3000pt games. Perturabo is a Lord of War but Tormentor is taken as a "dedicated transport"... Does Tormentor's point cost count against the 25% of the army limit on Lords of War? Are they wrong? Or am I missing something?

The 3,000 points and above restriction is part of Tormentor's rules.

I know its a long shot and their is no way of knowing with FW, but is their any reason it should continue referencing the Apocalypse entry for the Shadowsword instead of the slightly more updated entry in the HH book that followed?

Just has the description and special rules for it, no actual sword rules in the book.
In a 3k game though him and his pimped sword set you back nearly a third of that straight away.

I'm trying to hammer out a 2500pt, now 3000pt list...
I've gotten a bunch of models but didn't really make a list before hand just bought and adopted cool stuff, so now I'm trying to make it work. I've got Perturabo, Tormentor, 10 Tyrant Terminators, 10 Cataphractii terminators with volkite, 15 Breacher Marines (w/graviton), a medusa, 2 rapier laser destroyers, 2 Land Raider Proteus, 2x Contemptor Mortis with assault cannon and missiles, Navik and 3x Castellax. Any recommendations?
