After a long and wonderful holiday season -- filled with all things of wonderment, warm and joy, but sadly devoid of hobby and gaming -- I'm back to having free time
So, in celebration, I cracked out a Forge World kit and painted up some Outriders! The helmets and backpacks are from Calth (because those Mk4 pieces are just way, way better than the resin ones that come with the kit), and the shoulder pads come from Death Company and
BA Upgrade frame. They are lightly just weathered, made to fall between the sparkly clean power armor guys and the grimy tanks that fill up my slowly growing Blood Angels reboot.
You probably can't tell looking at the photos, but one outrider was painted assembled (rider separate), while the other two were painted in many pieces. On a lot of resin kits, I tend to preassemble them, as the fit is often not quite perfect, and needs to be remediated. The Outrider isn't so bad, though, because it starts off as a (plastic) scout bike. Anyhow, I mention this just to note that it took significantly less time to paint the ones that were assembled after the components were mostly painted.
As always, I really appreciate your comments and criticism!
P.S. - @AllSeeingSkink - You are evil. I've started doing all the text I write as double-lined letters now

It started, mostly, because it's more challenging , though I must confess that it has gotten much easier than when you put forth that "Write ZAEL" post

But this takes more time! It's 100% your fault!
LOL.
