Got sent this last week - if anyone has an interest in the Flesh Tearers, I penned a short review here: https://ttgamingdiary.wordpress.com/2016/01/16/review-flesh-tearers/

Thanks for spamming us a link for your blog instead of just posting a discussion for us to see.

I'm getting so tired of the click-bait on these forums!

Nothing stopping anyone discussing the supplement here is there?
I don't mind seeing these things, opens the hobby up a bit I think.

Had a read, looks good. But then the conclusion dropped a bomb, "ebook".

Yeaahhhh, no longer interested. Damn shame as the read and pics sound awesome.

No it doesn't. Had he at least posted his actual thoughts in the OP, I would've been less likely to report this as spam. However, it was a lazy attempt to get people to click the link for their blog.

Back on topic, please - if you see a post / thread you think might be rule breaking, just hit the yellow triangle and we'll always check it out. In this case, while more content in the OP would be great, the thread is worthwhile enough to leave open.

For myself, I'd say the article is well worth a read. The Death Company Dreadnought being your idea / creation way back when is pretty darn cool

It's a good read and I'm half tempted even though I don't play them.
Always loved them some more info and some rules for the future wouldn't be a bad investment.

Overall, thanks for the review

thanks again matt and I'm happy to see more reviews in the future

Edited by RiTides - See Mod note above, no more off-topic discussion please

I love this Supplement
for the simple reason that it allows you to filed a 100% dreadnought army (apart from drop pods)

HQ: Librarian Dreadnought
Troops: Cassor the Damned (hes from deathstorm)
Fast Attack: Drop pod
(optional)
Elites: 3x Furioso/Contemptor/Death Company Dreadnoughts
Heavy Support: 3x Leviathan Siege Dreadnoughts
Fast Attack: 5x extra Drop Pods

it can prove quite effective against dark eldar or melee armies (such as green tide orks) or in games or zone mortalis where they will DESTROY EVERYTHING

Thanks for the read.

If I ever did marines it'd be Flesh Tearers so them bundling this together is great.

If they actually increased the strength of the BA, the FT stuff would still be useful.

I am curious, why were you sent a copy? Why didn't you buy one? Was it a present before you could actually buy one?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Doing some bits and pieces with Black Library, got some things for background reading. The Flesh Readers tickled my interest for obvious reasons, it is a fairly recent release, so seemed like a good subject for a review.

(Really didn't mean to start any issues when posting here, apologies all round).

Hmm, that is tempting! I always find myself wishing they were ironclads and thus AV13 all around except the rear, though... AV12 just seems so easy to pop.

Furiosos are AV13, WS5 to boot as well. Its just a shame that they only have 2 attacks :/

This makes for a nice download if you haven't already got Exterminatus.

I thought they were only AV13 in the front arc? If it's been moved onto the sides, too, then I may need to look into this further

More content would be great IF there was a morsel of content to begin with. It is, for all intents and purposes, spam.
