Human Auxiliary to the Empire

At the right hand of farsight

Hi

Just starting AoS and have dug out my lizardmen aka seraphon. Having looked at the pdf that is available on the GW website and on the AoS app, i have noticed 1 or 2 differences, however they only 1 that really interests me is oldblood/kroq gar.

In the pdf, he is listed while in the app, all it lists is an oldblood on carnosaur. Both valid? pdf takes precedence? app takes precedance?

Same with 1 or 2 other units in the pdf vs app like eternity gaurdian/chakax?

One note of interest, in the pdf, at the bottom it says this:

The following do not have warscrolls. Instead, use the substitute warscrolls listed below.

to which:

Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur. . . . . . . . . . . . . .Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur

but like i said earlier, according to the app, kroq gar has no entry while old blood on carnosaur appears?

It looks like a small snafu... The app rules for the Oldblood list his IronMan gauntlet thingy, so in the app at least Kroq-Gar is now an Oldblood...

In the app as well it has 4 units that are still under the heading of Lizardmen which are: Skink Chief, Tehenhauin, Jungle Swarms and Oxyotl. I was searching for something that'd buff my Ripperdactyls for ages until I found the Chief.

As they update many armies, the special characters that existed in the old world are becoming normal units. This is especially prevalent in the Lizardmen. When the Serephon book came out, all of their old special characters except for Lord Kroak became normal units.

The warscroll compendiums were meant for using old warhammer armies when transitioning games.

I did notice on the app, units that don't transition to the new books are still available under their old headers. The old categories of Lizardmen, Beastmen, and Warriors of Chaos hold the outdated units that didn't make it into the new Serephon, Brayherds, and Slaves to Darkness.

I am pretty sure the only difference in these warscrolls is the names anyway, so it's a non-issue. But the App would take precedence since it includes the updates from book releases.
