New unit for new army so I just need help sorting things out.

As far as I can tell from reading the dex, a unit of 10 summoned pink horrors has the same psychic ability as a single L1 psycher & they have no innate shooting attack.

My question involves their psychic discipline. The dex specifies the tzeench discipline, but I don't believe those disciplines really apply any more. (?) I know my other greater demons have their choice of disciplines from the normal list. Is this also true for the pink horrors?

It's usually a good option to buy an extra horror for your units as for the cost of that horror they will gain another warp charge.

As for powers they can indeed roll on the malefic table. This is typically the best choice, looking for the conjuration powers and cursed earth.

Thanks Tonberry7, appreciate the advice. At the moment I'm usually summoning them in so kinda stuck at 10, however I do have at least one extra figure, so I'll make sure to paint him up so I can field them in a more optimal configuration.

The tzeentch powers are indeed still valid, and as flickering fire is automatically known, you should only roll on tzeentch if you really want the higher strength/AP for something particular.

otherwise, roll on malefic for free low risk summoning

You can still discard any roll on Malefic to get Primaris Summoning anyway, which is what most people care about.
