I want to add a little grass to my bases, something similar to what Talys has done here -



Looking on eBay there is this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171719513054?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&var=470679022085&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT - but I don't know how much 10g is (the eBay listing says it'll cover 8" x 8", but I don't know whether that's accurate). Given I only really want to add a dash to maybe 60-70 bases, is that enough?

Also, it's 2mm - is this about right for some nice patches of grass, or should I go longer?

Looks like Talys used Silflor grass tufts.

Those look like they may actually be "tufts" rather than straight up static grass (could be wrong!).

These 6mm winter tufts are scale wise knee-ish length clusters of grass. A single sheet will be enough for a couple of armies if used well.

Similarly, I use GF9's static grass; I have a tub with which I have based now about 3 armies and it is nowhere near depleated yet!

I got a sample of Gamer's Grass at NOVA and was very impressed by it. I ordered one of each kind that they have, and it should last me forever.
