Subject: Auxiliary choices in a Gladius

Can I take an auxiliary choice from kauyon as my mandatory choice in a codex sm Gladius strike force? I don't see anything that says you must take an auxially in the sm book. When looking in kauyon they are listed with the same aux logo as the sm book. Basically I want the free transports but the storm talon formation from kauyon.

Not as Good as a Minion
|
You can take any of the Auxiliary Choices listed for the Gladius Strike Force for your Gladius Strike Force. You cannot take a Decurion Auxiliary Choice for your Gladius Strike Force any more than the Kauyon-specific Auxiliary Choices.

Note however you can take a Gladius and the Stormtalon formation as it is a formation in its own right so can be added to any army.

Good try, but the Gladius specifically says "only the datasheets listed here can be included in this Detachment. All units must have the Space Marine Faction and must be drawn from the Same Chapter". So not only can you not take something from the Decurion or Tau one, but you also cannot mix and match Chapter Tactics either (so no Vulkan fighting in a full battle company with Grimaldus).

What about the "Skyhammer Annihilation Force" thats a web exclusive? Would that count towards Gladius as an aux choice??
